While waiting on that Behringer Bode module, something else fun to run drums and such through
Image
I haven’t had a standalone phaser since a Guyatone pedal I had in the 80s. Interested to know best way to feed modular’s CV in to drive that expression input.

My current DIY score is 23-2, and I have a fairly good idea about what is up with the 2; just going to take a lot of desoldering and hole cleaning (ooh er missus) to fix them.

I'm waiting for a few more videos before taking the plunge. I built their Scrat filter a while back, and it's a lot of fun (even if it's not a Steiner-Parker, as it is described).

mainly blown things trying to circuit bend them, spent not far off 200 on speak n spells to turn in to wall decorations
managed a small theremin, that the rod would get hot on.
my bugbrand wom, made one sound, a sort of vzzzzzt then nothing since.

im a player not a builder it seems.
it's much harder than lego :(

tbf to my skills, i have done some fairly tricky repairs over the years, but especially since my nerve issues, don't really fancy picking a soldering iron up any more :scared:

That looks it’d work, but an expensive way to limit max voltage to +3.3v and keep voltage positive especially if I wanted to drive multiple pedals. Hmmm may have to google around. I did find an ST Modular module named PedalPal, but could only see it in kit form.

They have colors now... Are you choosing one, or getting the classic black?

Sadly, no purple. I'd be into that one too!

pekbro wrote: Wed Jul 12, 2023 4:28 pm I was looking at that, the pink cake color scheme didnt really work for me. I like the other on the tape sym pedal, i already got one of those tho.

Anyway, i didnt buy anything for their anniversary sale, so i dont expect to
pick up anything from them soon. I was
tempted to get their expression wheel thing,
but whimped out in the end since i didnt
think it would offer much over my other
expression pedals.
I hated the regular MOOD MKII release and I see this as an improvement, but yeah… definitely a birthday cake release!

I didn’t like the Gen Loss LE. Reminds me of pre-school art. My mom worked with child-cares and curriculums for early teaching and there’s no shortage of crayon rainbow coloring schemes.

I sold off my Gen Loss MKII pedal after only using it sparingly. It’s great, but I just won’t use it enough to keep it.
Well that makes you a purveyor of cool stuff then. Maybe you dont have enough drum machines. I like it on drums myself. :tu:
I ordered Gen Loss MKII. 2nd time around... let's see how it goes.

I like the birthday cake version.

It's funny though, a couple days on Instagram somebody posted their mini pedalboard with their Chase Bliss stuff, where they'd repainted Habit pink to match Mood.
Somehow missed this!

Man, as much as dislike the Mood MK2 design, I still think that's an improvement over Habit! I loved their promo bits for Habit, but I'm looking forward to when they make a limited edition of that one. I don't know if I'd get it, but I would be more interested in pretty much any other design for it.

(IMO) Blooper and MOOD (mk1) were their best looking designs and even better when side-by-side.
