Waveform Edits size big and session slower with each subsequent save

Hi,

I have noticed that each time I save an edit even without ANY update to the project, the file size keeps increasing and the edit/session gets slower as time passes by. Even restarting the PC and Waveform doesn't improve the speed of the edit.

The workaround is to save as a new edit and then the session becomes fast and edit is smaller in file size.

Is this a bug or is there some feature that makes this happen? It's really frustrating to keep saving as a new edit to keep Waveform working fast.
