Help! Hi all, my first post here. I am fairly new to Tracktion Waveform. In a current project I am working on I have managed to undock the arranger screen by mistake. I was working on the keyboard at the time and I assume I hit a shortcut key to make this happen? The problem is that I only use one screen, and now the arranger screen sits in front of the other panels and I need to minimise the screen to see the functions and menus hidden behind. I don't know how dock the screen back into the default view and it is annoying the shit out of me. If this was a new project I would delete and start again, as I have put a lot of work into this, I'm not prepared to do this. All my other projects are unaffected and have the default screen layout.
If anybody could help me solve this conundrum I would be most grateful.

:D Yeah, had (and still do sometimes) these same issues. I believe in the top-right corner there is that blue icon. If you click it, it offers layout options that can be turned on and off. That might solve your issue.

Thanks for the reply. This took me hours to work this out. on the top left hand of the screen is a dock/undock button. Of course I was looking everywhere but the top left corner of the screen. Keyboard shortcuts, settings, user manual... I was using Cakewalk before this. I decided it was time for a change, So far I am impressed with Waveform but there is a learning curve to go through.

It seems to be a human trait that we always seem to go for the most complicated solution for problem solving before getting back to basics.

It really is an excellent piece of software, but it is easy for someone like myself to easily make mistakes. I don't typically use many hotkeys, except for ctrl-a, c and v to copy and paste. So, yeah, if I press something accidentally, it can totally get things out of whack.

I once requested a "what have I done?" feature that would show a list of hotkeys pressed, but the devs didn't seem to understand what I was asking for and denied it.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

That's a brilliant idea, and one i could have used many times. I'm terrible at renaming stuff before I've highlighted the appropriate area lol.

The worst is when you *think* you're naming a track and discover you've been typing shortcuts for the last few seconds...and have no idea what you've just done to your project.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.
