I can use them in any host as long as I run it in Rosetta mode. Are you saying Patchwork can run them without being in Rosetta? That would be something.RDB wrote: Sun Jul 30, 2023 10:57 pm I am able to use 2C reverbs (Breeze, B2, Aether...) on a M1 Mac Studio Ultra through Blue Cat Audio's Patchwork. It is not perfect, but it - kinda - works, as long as you stop the audio when changing parameters. Best is to build Patchwork presets...

Any update on this? I'd love an updated Aether.2ca wrote: Fri Sep 16, 2022 4:23 am
>From my humble pov, if you really own that much of the code why not put out a new shinny reverb based on Aether ? Or just change the name and sell it cheaper. I know I would.
This is what I'm working on.

when chatGTP gets to version 28 or something maybe we can ask it to generate code to replace 2Caudio's B2 reverb plug in and compile an installer for all formats.
until then.. all hope is lost.

2. reverb prototype should be available for testing in about 6-8 weeks
3. anyone who has experience in betatesting please email me at info@devproaudio.com
4. 2CA and SpinAudio users who are eligible for a free copy of my new reverb could take part in testing of the prototype too. their feedback will be appreciated and will help me to tune the algorithm.
I'm also working on a recreation of 3D Panner Studio and it might be available for betatesting within the same time frame. 3DDelays is also in the works. FX Designer will be recreated in some form too.

I made a good progress with the reverb alg over july. I'm expecting to have a prototype in a form of VST3/ARM_MAC for checking out within 2-4 weeks. anyone interested could email me at info@devproaudio.com
Note: this particular reverb is not going to be a re-creation of Aether or Breeze 1.x, I'm trying to make a better reverb.
I hope people will like it.
Technically I could recreate all 2C products in a modern form, however 2CA products have Andrew's contributions in various proportions and I respect other people's property rights even in case he does not respect mine's.

Can existing 2CA customers count on some discounts once it's released?2ca wrote: Mon Jul 31, 2023 7:17 am >Any update on this? I'd love an updated Aether.

hello, stupid question, i didnt read everything but i know about the history sadly between you two a bit from the forums, i still use the reverbs, sad to read this and i see them as abandoned and not expecting future support so i will maybe stop using them.
so does this mean (i got the whole bundle 2caudio) that im eligible to get the new SpinAudio reverbs?
thx
p.s.
hope SpinAudio will be succesful if the quality is on par and has a better service than 2caudio!

1) I am not going to use SpinAudio brand name. I'll just re-do some of SpinAudio plug-ins. Currently I'm working on 3Dpanner Studio and 3DDelays using new improved HRTF engine
2) Yes, as a 2CA user you can get the new reverb for free
3) Yes you can expect at least the same level of sound quality and dsp code optimization/vectorization but user interface might be somewhat unpolished in first versions as I'm re-coding it from scratch so that the rendering is done on GPU.

It would be great if you could include an ultra-high-quality option like the 4x quality in B2... or maybe even higher quality for today's more powerful cpu's.2ca wrote: Mon Jul 31, 2023 1:49 pm 1) I am not going to use SpinAudio brand name. the new reverb will include a selection of internal configs that allow to employ and experimenrt with ultra high quality modes at the expense of course of more CPU usage, however modern CPUs can handle that.
built-in oversampling wont be necessary though rendering the entire project at a high sample rate is always a good idea to improve the quality of the bounce.
