Preset morphing in MSoundFactory. Bug... maybe request.

I'm trying to morph between presets in MSoundFactory, but even if I take the same preset and make some very safe edits, such as filter cutoff, LFO speed, etc, I get crazy buffer underrun type sounds when trying to use the morph pad to go from one preset to the new one.

Something you can try is changing Settings/Smart Interpolation. idk if it'll work but the Help says it can affect zipper noise.

Not a complete solution to what you mention, but worth mentioning to you...
You can set up morphing using the MPs and it works smoothly. It takes a bit of time to set it up, but then you could save it as a template for the future. If you would like to see how to do this, take a look inside the METAMORPH instrument.

Yeah, that's how I have been doing it, and it works fine, it's just that the morphing feature appears to be a quick and easy way to get to the same result, yet even if it's trying to do the exact same thing, it's failing. Seems like something that should be optimized to work.jmg8 wrote: Wed Aug 02, 2023 9:07 am Not a complete solution to what you mention, but worth mentioning to you...
