Ratio 4:1 or 8:1 and fast release, really great to get that smack, specially when using in parallel.

Like the Pajsoil so far, quite versatile and nice sounding, unfortunately missed the sale.
The developer says the updates between versions are free.

MModernCompressor.

I'm using it over and over with very good results. Even with the lowest attack and hard knee sounds nicely

Really good compressor. Can work with or without the latency. Host sync tempo release. Easy to use. Almost zero CPU load.

What do you mean by "Musical" ?

Vague term which belongs to another time, another era...

Two fast ones (and free) I can think of, from the top of my head are MCompressor and ReaComp (the latter was used extensively in the song "Distrobia" by ReaHanna).
