+1 to the new 16.08 installer not actually installing the VST2 or VST3s and just creating empty sub folders (Windows 11). First time I've had this happen (been using Melda since around v12/13) so definitely something funky with this new installer
It looks like 16.08 is just ever 10 meg smaller than 16.07 - It installs all the libraries and instruments just not the actual thingamies !

Go to here and scroll down a little bit for the older builds - 16.07 should be fine

Thank you very much @mcbpete, 16.07 works just fine! I'm sure Vojtech overlooked something when he was compiling and he'll get it fixed soon.

Concerned about the uncharacteristic silence from Melda on this...

I'm chiming in regarding the mysterious absence of plugins that should otherwise be sitting on my hard drive. All is good as I have the older version working just fine but it might be nice to perform the upgrade.

Over a dozen people with this problem on the forum (which means many many more who are not, it's been over 24 hours) and still no word from Meldaproduction.
This is starting to be not only uncharacteristic for Meldaproduction, but uncharacteristic for any company.
Installer's job: unpack engine, place engine in correct folder, unpack dll's, place dll's in correct folders. Not a lot to go wrong there.

Fail here as well, with latest version 16.08. Win 10. Afterwards - No plugins to delete anywhere on my system on a full scan.
16.07 installs as it should though.
