Windows Renoise, Ableton and Studio One

Tried the Wig and it will replace Ableton for me when they do the big QoL update, if and whenever that happens.
Furnace, Renoise, Cubase, Reaper :tu:

Studio One Pro on MacOS and Windows.
No one uses Linux for music.
Pointless survey.

Well, so far 4 out of 39 do.
And 34 out of 39 have the ability to at any time.

4 out of 39 people who participated. Most people, like me, don’t have an appropriate option to choose, so haven’t participated.

If you had options for ‘Apple other’, ‘Windows other’, and ‘Linux other’, you might get a more accurate picture of the percentage of people using Linux from this poll.

But as the poll is currently constructed, it appears designed to validate your own bias.

But the poll does have that option. That option is "Squid". Chosen for its ubiquity in the seas - aka "the true chicken of the seas".

And you are participating.

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Poor souls are the ones not open for other opinions/options

There just isn’t enough pro audio available on Linux. Even if you’re willing to settle for one of the above DAWs, none of the plugins that matter are available. And Linux is a real pain in the arse anyways. It’s the OS for people who want to spend all their time tinkering with their OS. Just get a Mac instead and get on with making music.
