And just to be clear, all these examples use the 'route audio from track x' to record onto another track. Waveform appears to compensate for the latency on track x (the track being recorded) However, if another, even unrelated, track has plugins totalling a higher latency, your recording appears to be shifted by the difference between the higher and lower latencies.

Thank you for confirming the existence of this problem. I don't think that users should come up with something to solve this. The user must turn on the program and not keep in mind the mistakes of the developers. What is your computer configuration?

1 year old build, i9 12th gen, 32 gb ddr5 ram, Samsung 980 PRO ssd x 2. Running as out of the box, no tweaking. Budget presonus interface, running their asio drivers, at 48000, buffer around 5 ms. Windows 11 up to date, Waveform Pro.

Gorgeous, a familiar glitch, I get this if I try to render a track with fabfilter pro q3 in linear mode of any complexity, I thought it was because I was working at a high frequency, but it turns out this is another sore (zero surprise)
Did you know that the native volume control on tracks makes noise in automation? I came across this test on the forums (link to it), repeated what was described and made sure, moreover, automating the volume of the master channel or any other plug-in with volume, there is no noise at all at the output. It's so terribly strange that it's even funny
