So, this mode of selection does not work. It will behave as Round-robin.
In case I missed something, please could somebody confirm?

I just tried, all seems fine. Note that it doesn't do anything for just 2 samples! The engine makes sure identical samples are never played twice in a row.

As you load the project MSF does not follow a random selection. It always follows a round-robin pattern for a complete round. And after that round-robin round, then random starts to work.
So with 5 samples, the first 5 notes will be a round-robin pattern, and after that a random pattern.
MSF version: 16.08
Of course using this will never use a sample twice in a row, but this is not random, this is round-robin in the first round.
