Yes I agree and I also hope that there will be a deluge of good or great AI plugins to be released.
For me the ideal will be an AI assistant to answer my questions on how to do this or that.
Better yet to do this or that in my existing DAW and huge list of plugins.

Does anyone here use the KNOCK plugin? Any thoughts on it?
https://pluginsthatknock.com/knock
On sale for $69 ($119 regular), only a few hours left I guess. $69 is the lowest price yet, but still on the higher side I think. I am a bit tempted, but there is no demo and I am not sure if the license can be resold. I have sent an email to them, but meanwhile does anyone know if the license can be transferred?

Got their reply saying they currently do not allow license transfers.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Mon Aug 14, 2023 5:54 pm Does anyone here use the KNOCK plugin? Any thoughts on it?

It's on sale right now. 20% off on Pianoteq Standard and all instrument packs. Sale ends today, though. The "group" code works on jrrshop, giving you an extra 16% off the sale price.
PIanoteq typically has a sale around Black Friday too, usually around 25% off.

Thanks for the reminder. I just have Stage but wanted to upgrade from the old version of V5 to V8 (30 bucks).cthonophonic wrote: Tue Aug 15, 2023 5:59 pmIt's on sale right now. 20% off on Pianoteq Standard and all instrument packs. Does anyone have the Electric Pianos upgrade? Not sure it is needed given Arturia stuff.

Hey guys,
I updated my post on the no chat thread about the Futurephonic sale:
viewtopic.php?p=8727245#p8727245
I've since grabbed 2/3rds of their stuff and will likely buy all the rest here today. It's that good.
I'm pretty stoked to have finally found the quality of samples I've been looking for for years. I'm in heaven finally after finding these guys.
Also, excited to watch their masterclasses. They go deep into the sound design like I've not seen many do. So stoked today.

Worth bothering with if you're not into making psytrance?...Rational wrote: Wed Aug 16, 2023 1:21 am Hey guys,

I think so. I read a quote online this week that I'll paraphrase badly as,
"Many sample sounds can't do psytrance, but psytrance sounds can do every genre."
Might not be 100% true, but I'd say it's more applicable than not for many uses.
I'm biased perhaps though. But I can see a lot of this usable for a lot of stuff.
Edit: I found the quote. lol.
"When it comes to sounds not everything can do trance, but trance sounds can fit in any genres."
Also, on the tutorials, psytrance also has one of the most demanding mixing and mastering requirements of any genre, so learning from these guys puts your skills at the top of the game no matter what you're working on.

I discovered this new company selling a rapid workflow method for DAW users to help make music faster.
Templates available for Ableton, Bitwig, FL Studio, and Logic.
Looks like it has huge upside potential to save time in the studio if it works as described.
https://www.rapidflow.shop/
I picked it up and am starting to dig into it. I also got the Earthling masterclass. I'll share later how useful I found it.

Here is the reply from Inspired Acoustics.
"We are currently experiencing a high load due to the ongoing sale. We are in the process of deploying an additional file server, and we appreciate your patience during this time."
Not sure whether the sale is beiung extended. I had a number of other issues. Although I was unable to download the library so I had downloaded the installer and so tried to do an install, Windows told me twice that the program would not run on my machine (high spec Windows 11) then finally relented. Then I started getting odd messages from ilok.
I think I may pass this time around. Pity, I could do with a high quality convolution reverb for real spaces.
