Hello everyone, sorry if this is already mentioned, but I couldn't find any information talking about this bug.

Replication:
- Have any instrument, with a 1 band or 8 band EQ on it (the native one).
- Change it to be a high pass / low cut filter.
- Let the instrument play a sustained note.
- While its playing, move the frequency of the EQ between 20-40Hz
- The audio should explode / make clicking noises

There are times when the audio doesn't 'recover' and just stays silent after the bug happens.

This bug works with the EQ on the master as well, and when the frequency is changed by automation.

This bug occurs on versions v12.5.3 and above (including v12.5.11 beta), but not on v12.1.8

I can't figure out how to upload videos here, so heres the gif (look at the volume levels exploding to red)

Yes. Started in 12.5. One of the first things I found as I used that a lot for the high pass. and is really annoying, as it required the replacing of all instances in projects.

BTW, view the bug in Span. Full spectrum nuclear lol.

Confirmed. I'm running Waveform 12.5.11 on Windows 10. I wonder if the same issue crops up on other OSes.

I can provide an Edit with 4OSC and 8-band EQ on a track, and Limiter on the master if anyone else wants to try.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

This has been fixed by the developers and will be in the next release. As for a time-frame of the release I'm not sure.
