holy crap how did i not realise this sooner, the string spacing is guitar like, so ebows are probably a lot easier than trying to balance it right on a 4 string!!

Yes, and when you slide from one string to the next, the grooves create a faster bowing sound. You can create realistic arpeggiating cello sounds that way.

yeah i love my ebow on guitar, but it was such a pain on the bass i only tried it once years ago.

for 199 i can give up on the warlock shape for lowass ebow!! 8)

sons 30th next week or so, so will be after that i guess :)

There was an Aria bass that was spaced like a guitar. Really strange to play, even with a pick because the bigger strings made them even closer together. But Ebow might work well on it.

I swear it was a fortnight or two ago when Kieran was a little boy... :?

(Yeah yeah, not quite true since that was back in my bachelor days and now my own first-born is ten years of age, but still: damn, time flies, doesn't it?)
