I just talked to Sascha. We have to take into account that he doesn't own the algorithms anymore, hence there are some legal problems if any of us would update them.

We however have made sure that I can finally fix the FishFillets AU, as the bug in the AU is mine and not Sascha's - somewhen after Filterscape etc.. Uhm, but that doesn't apply to you anyway, hehehe...

(Ah, well, no DFP pc stuff from me anyway, I'm just maintaining the Mac versions)

oooooooooo, that sounds nice. Glad it's ok to fix them. I think it is SO wrong to have things like these go away.

I know you ported a couple DFP plugs to AU, but when did you actually become DFP?

Seriously guys, Urs is u-he and has done some great porting for the Mac users in the past, but DFP is gone. Sold to Magix. Maybe a emails to Magix is a better approach. Maybe they would see some market potential for selling them as VSTs. But Urs is not the developer or owner of them, so we should give him a break.

Well, who says there won't be an u-he branded dynamics processor, gaining experience from a lot of beers with Sascha of DFP?

If I remember correctly, the idea behind Filterscape was building an EQ that can be used as a multiband compressor. That's why the Envelope Followers have Threshold levels etc... - I should make a preset for transient shaping, it should actually be quite easy to accomplish

All I can say is, there are a lot of ideas, and the knowledge is available. Just, the time is not. Currently.
