That's a good deal, never had an issue with waves, especially considering their price, rove is a beast, good eq's/SSL Channel and good noise suppression, waves targets bedroom producers who may have to operate on a tight budget so that sounds like good value, they don't have the best mastering plugins is all I would say.

Never ever, it's just the opposite, very stable, no bugs and cpu friendly almost all of their plugins, not just refering to Diamond bundle.sQeetz wrote: Sun Aug 20, 2023 1:34 pm I remember it being really buggy and a resource hog... Could be it has changed
That's what I can confirm using windows and Reaper.

Hi all,
I have some Waves plugins, but never had WUP. I see $239 both yesterday and today for Platinum, even after login. What am I missing?
Thanks,
D

Thanks. I saw your post from yesterday and thought you purchased it yesterday when I saw $239. But now I see that the post was early in the AM so you probably did not actually purchase it yesterday after all.ralfrobert wrote: Mon Aug 21, 2023 4:58 pm

Exactly, I picked it up earlier, played around with it and was so happy I had to post here.DaveClark wrote: Mon Aug 21, 2023 5:15 pmThanks. I bought Platinum and now the SSL 4000 Collection.
Despite the WUP and Subscription dramas, Waves are very generous with dynamic pricing. I got the SSL 4000 bundle for $40-something because I grabbed a free G-Channel when getting Platinum.
Just grabbed two free CLA plug-ins after buying SSL to hopefully get a good deal on a CLA collection, which I hope is the next collection to get a flash sale, lol.
This is how they get ya.

I was already "gotten" some years ago and now I avoid swimming in the lake.J Veronica wrote: Mon Aug 21, 2023 6:29 pm I bought Platinum and now the SSL 4000 Collection.

I mainly bought Platinum for the R-plugs and V-comp. Plus a few others will get use.
However, most of the collection is digital sawdust.

That sucks. Reason has a similar policy with only 1 software license. Good to knowFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Thu Aug 17, 2023 5:30 pm Don't forget: you can only use Waves plugins on one computer unless you have an active WUP. So for the first year, I believe you're good. After that, if you want them on your laptop AND your desktop, you absolutely must pay or constantly be deactivating one to use it on the other.
