ZERO!
KLF did considerably better on the Billboard charts than either of them. Reached #1, and in the chart for 19 weeks with 3am Eternal.
There is no better version of this tune

Tours mean nothing.
If KLF really did have a number 1 in the States (which i doubt - it is more likely marketing hype to help sell records), it did them no good.
It clearly did them more good than it did Blur or the Verve.

Anyway, the KLF's mates were in control of Blur. Zoo Music then Food, nuff said.
I don't think they even toured the States ever. .
Obviously, they didnt need to.

Anyway the only decent thing Damien Allbran ever did was the music for Reykjavik 101.

The old adage ‘Opinions are like a’holes… everybody has one’ comes to mind when perusing the comments here.
The KLF! Bloody excellent!
And Mr Allbrans ‘Gorillaz’ have had some brilliant moments.
I think we mix up our antipathy towards an artists perceived personality/character with the music/art they create. Not good!

It was #1 because of Tammy Wynette on vocals on the single. I still have the Extended Mix vinyl I'll admit. I'd never even heard of Blur until I was in London and a club DJ played Common People. I still have that CD.

common people is pulp not blur.
blur did country house and parklife around that time, as well as others but they were the catchy pop bits.

I'd forgotten about that. :)

Anyway, I wasnt that serious. I wasnt a fan of Blur, but R101 did tip me off that he was a bit more interesting than 'parklife' let on... :)

yup, as much as i do like blur, parklife and country house, and a couple of others, do nothing for me at all.

and i know osiris is american, but mistaking blur for pulp, is quite offensive as a "northerner" even if they are from tother coast.
