Don't be mistaken @nowgad, I love Tracktion, I think I was among the firsts french users. I even translated the interface at one point. I just wanted to come back to it to make beats for my son who's a pretty decent rapper, and enthusiastically bought a licence an biotek and collective. And they do not work on Ubuntu.

Did you post about that somewhere? Is it just Biotek and Collective that don't work? Does Waveform work? Do you get any output errors? Make a separate post about this. I will read and see if I can help.

Yeah, the only reason I even came back in to read again was that I noticed that someone other than the OP had made the most recent post. It is relatively easy (and common) to tune out a source of noise without content, thus my earlier point about this being counterproductive.

What's going on with Tracktion? Sometimes it seems that everything is done through a glass prism. And now the presentation of Attracktive without sound, crooked posts in the past on Instagram. What is this? Lots of bugs in TW12. Are developers musicians? Or have they been writing code for the sake of code since version 12, and then from time to time? If there are not enough funds, is it really impossible to declare this and collect them using Kickstarter, and / or Patreon, etc.? How the owner of the Ascension synthesizer did it, or the guys from FKFX, I think there are other examples. What's stopping you from being appropriate?

Adequate, honest and open. And don't go down the path of silence and sell your bugs in the hope that the "next wallet" will help them spend some money on fixing a few simple bugs, leaving most of the bugs unfixed.

And the process to download it gets you to a 404. Someone is getting scolded.

EDIT: I put in an actual ticket regarding the silent video and 404, in case nobody else told them and they're down at the pub for a celebratory beer.

EDIT 2: Support has told me that the 404 has been resolved and the marketing team has been informed about the video.

Okay, now I have Attracktive installed and it is triggering one of my new pet peeves: stupid extra path BS for VST3 plugins. They're installing the plugin into a path that includes a folder with the same name as the plugin, including the .vst3 extension. Waveform isn't smart enough to know it's a folder, so it's failing.

Can't say that I was attracted to Attracktive, and this doesn't help. I need another library and more presets like I need another delay plugin.
