MTurboReverb LE : is there a description of the differents "presets" ?

Hi,
I'm struggling with the decision of using this or that preset for my music. Mainly orchestral stuff, where I'd like to keep a cohesive sound between sections, but with a slight difference for strings, brass, woodwinds, etc.
For sure, everything is creative and can be musical, etc. But I'd like to have a "scientific" way of making a choice, ie ; know what I'm doing, and later, if I want to get off the beaten tracks, I would.
So, for instance, what would be the key differences between the differents hall (randy, character, clear, concert). (ie. on which parameter does the "clear hall" sounds differently than the "randy hall", and into each presets, on which parameter does the "aichi" concert hall sound different from the "fukuoka" ?).
Please don't answer "listen and get the one you prefer", rather point me where there is such info.
Thanks.

I don't know of such specific information, but it might be educational to learn about how MTurboReverb functions under the hood. Definitely scientific enough. There's sooo much deciding a reverb's design... To keep it together, just use one and the same hall reverb, and tweak a little at the return channel maybe?

Ok, I guess it is because I only own LE version, I can't see under the hood.
Thanks for the video.

I don't think there is any info, but I made a few of them, so perhaps I can talk about them.

Randy hall is based off of 80s reverbs. It has slight modulation in the tail that makes it sound lush, but it also makes it sound less natural. I believe there is also some saturation in it.

I think I made clear hall as well. It should be a clean natural sounding hall reverb without much color to it.

The different modes such as aichi, fukuoka, etc are usually different delay times inside the algorithm. The change in delay times creates an audible effect, but it isn't one that is easily explainable or predictable. Of course people have their opinions on what the differences between them are, they aren't easy to discribe. This isn't always the case though. In randy hall the different modes effect how the stereo is handled and the high-end.

Also keep in mind that the devices on the left aren't presets like in other reverbs. They are basically completely different reverbs. The underlying algorithms aren't the same and thus the qualities and way the different parameters behave will be very different. If you want things to sound like they are in the same place, it might be best to use just 1 device.

Thanks, that's a good explanation.
