I turned the July free offers back on for you, including MODO Bass 70's J-Bass, Audiolens, Digital Synsations, Roomer, and Ultra Analog Sessions. Please add one of them to your cart along with any other purchase and you should see their price automatically change to zero in the cart:

I added IK Multimedia Syntronik OXa to the list.

It's killing me how I neither got a confirmation nor a cancellation mail from Native Instruments. Will I receive my MIDI controller or not? Will I be able to keep the software or not? Nobody knows. :(
Euphoria and disappointment lie so close together sometimes.

Did anyone get any feedback via email from them yet after purchasing something while they had a price error?

Do you really think someone who bought a product during this debacle is going to wait to get their money back then turn around and pay more for the same product? How is that not classic bait and switch? Even in the CSA (Corporate States of America) that's illegal.

After all the ill will NI has earned for taking legacy products away from paying customers are we supposed to have sympathy for them now?

Are there no consequences for mistakes now? Developers can just bumble their way through the business day with impunity?

My disdain for certain developers grows with each day....amateurs.

I'd say Hanlon's Razor is applicable here.

Incompetence rather than malice. It was rectified pretty quickly.

I very much doubt it was any kind of "bait & switch". That's something you're literally pulling out of thin air.

People make mistakes and I'd say it's immoral to benefit from a genuine mistake.

Yes, they made a statement here: https://community.native-instruments.co ... ment_92184

Quoted here for convenience:
Hi everyone,

Thanks for bringing the issue to our attention. We had a temporary pricing error in our online shop from 3 am to 2:30 pm last Sunday, September 3. This error caused nearly all products to be discounted by over 60%. Once we became aware of the issue, we identified the root cause and made the necessary fix.

If you purchased software products during this timeframe, your order will remain unaffected. We recognize that these orders have already been fulfilled and we respect the fact that you may have already installed and used them in your projects.

Unfortunately we cannot honor the prices on any hardware orders that were placed during this period. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this might cause. These orders will be cancelled and we have begun to issue the refunds. This may take a few days to arrive depending on your payment method. As a gesture of goodwill, we are offering all affected customers a 10% voucher for future hardware purchases which will be sent out via email today. We know a situation like this can be frustrating and we appreciate your understanding. Looking forward, we can assure you that we have adjusted our process to prevent such errors in the future.

If you have any questions about your order, please reach out to our Customer Care team here: https://support.native-instruments.com/ ... 0000092537 I'll be closing this thread as the matter pertains to specific order details, which are best addressed by our dedicated support team.

Thanks for posting this...you are so correct. Everytime a retailer makes an honest mistake the Umbrage Army saddles up for war and the goofy conspiracy nonsense starts. I feel sorry for some folks

Note that NI are probably going to refund everyone. Thus licenses of Diva etc. that were bought during these hours might eventually be invalidated with us.

Also: We recommend not to buy second hand redeem codes of our stuff. Those might come from this fuckup and thus not work.
According to NI software purchases will be honored. I’m afraid that statements like this, especially coming from a software developer will create uncertainty about second hand plugin purchases. Following the logic of NI statement they will compensate third-party sellers during the glitch
So according to Native Instruments, redeem codes bought during the glitch ARE COMPLETELY SAFE

-Hardware orders are calceled and will be refunded, they offer a 10% discount coupon
-Software orders will be honored, so all serail numbers are valid

Anybody able to get into Native Access today? Not working for me and keeps asking for email and password every time I restart.

Thanks for that, it’s really kind of you. Unfortunately, I went ahead and made the purchase before you replied :ud: Hopefully, I can find something else.

Great! That's good to hear!

Before you explode in outrage, please note that we haven't been officially informed yet, and that the information we had yesterday - at the time of my posting - wasn't exactly in favour of honouring the deal.

Furthermore, just to illustrate where we're coming from, second hand sales of redeem codes unfortunately are subject to scams way too often to be ignored. Hence we recommend to be cautious.

We do work on solutions that do not involve redeem codes in the future, but that takes time.
