I already wrote that I have no more food for trolls. Bye :tu:
Sorry martinjeunke…

Just had to say bye back and…. No proof = no need for the rage and no need for the discussion (my only points).

This is actually a really nice deal, imho. I have Tonex SE from a promo they did shortly after they rolled it out. Very soon after, they removed it and made it so you could only get it when you bought IK hardware.

I suspect it was cannibalizing the sales of the more expensive versions, since there are a huge number of excellent captures on ToneNet, so people like me didn't feel any need to spend all the extra money for IK captures.

I'm assuming that sales of Tonex have passed the spike, so now they can put this one back out to capture people who have given it a pass so far. As they do.

This is a great sim, especially since you can run it in Amplitube and use all of those effects.

Also worth remembering that, if you have the Jam Points, you can get the price down to $40.

EDIT: Oops. I didn't notice that y'all were busy fighting here now. Sorry for the interruption. Please carry on.
More posts like this and less of the fightin' posts would be more than welcome.

Back on topic… I was just about to ask how people were getting the $99 deal for the UA Creative Bundle, but they just sent it to me.

I went ahead and purchased. I just wish they supported the iLok Computer host, as opposed to dongle and iLok cloud only. I just don’t want the dongle sticking out of the laptop, which I think is risky considering the way I use it, but I’ll look to get an extension cord to minimize the risk.

And now my small contribution to get back on topic. I have some giveaway licenses to share with board members:

Baby Audio- Comeback Kid Delay

Softube - Dirty Tape

Arturia- Tape MELLO-FI

Yes, no need to rage. Time to get back on topic as you wrote.

I didn’t get the deal as well, but I’m more into their analog compressor emulation, so that’s not needed atm.

Yes, iLok has this inconvenience. The extension cable will certainly protect your dongle from damage. I’m using mine on a laptop as well and trying to be careful. What I might suggest is to get a backup dongle just in case, even more if you intend to use your iLok protected plugins for crucial projects. I’ve read some horror stories of people with damaged dongles waiting for months for their licenses to be recovered by PACE.

I’m not so much interested in the creative bundle, compared to the mixing bundle, but I am curious about their plate reverb and the waterfall organ. I almost bought a Yamaha Reface YC, so I’m hoping this holds.

From reading on iLok, I think its up the developer to support it or not. For my licenses, UA is the only developer that doesn’t support it unfortunately. I wrote to them, but I’m not expecting any changes.

The good news is that they do offer more than one license so I can have licenses stored on separate dongles (because I like to leave the primary one on the desktop, as a set it and forget it).

I was a little bit afraid of using machine license for PACE protected software and opted for the dongle instead. I believe that Windows is more prone to damage than a dongle and the iLok 2 looks pretty solid.

Yes, the two UAD licenses could be put on two dongles and you have the perfect backup in case that one gets damaged or just fails.

So… this is a bit convoluted, but, the UA thing is looking better than expected.

Polymax $6
Edit: 1176 for $39
UA Creative Bundle $99

Thank you discount for $25 received
Offer to upgrade to Diamond: $271

Total price for Diamond: $390

UAD looks to be good at attracting new customers atm. My first purchases were during the $49 promo for each of 1176, LA2A & Fairchild comps. I got a Volt about three months earlier and it came with LA2A. Then the summer promotion and all the thank you and $50 vouchers helped me to get the LA3A (wasn’t that impressed by it however), the API plugins and Lexi 224.

Sadly that many plugins are not native yet, like all Neve emulations and Manley Massive Passive.

The UAD Diamond Edition is in my offers for 458,00 €.

I turned the July free offers back on for you, including MODO Bass 70's J-Bass, Audiolens, Digital Synsations, Roomer, and Ultra Analog Sessions. Please add one of them to your cart along with any other purchase and you should see their price automatically change to zero in the cart:

- edit -
I added IK Multimedia Syntronik OXa to the list.
MODO J-bass seems not turn to be free? also OXa.
Digital synsations does.

Any idea how to get the API 2500 cheaper than on sale now? $89
