That's reasonable. I definitely wouldn't want you to take development time from future productsUrs wrote: Wed Sep 06, 2023 9:20 pmProbably. Can't say when, it really needs to take a backseat for while if we want to move forward with all the stuff we have to do.D Halgren wrote: Wed Sep 06, 2023 9:19 pm It seems like you indicated that we would get Bitwig Note Expressions for Zebra as well in the other thread. Is that correct? Because that would be amazing!!!

What does the support for latest macOS Ventura/Sonoma refer to, since it appears to work fine currently?

I notice that ACE, Bazille, Diva and Hive are often grouped together in terms of progress, and Repro is left out. Is there some reason why the other four seem to get development in tandem and repro isn't included? Sorry if you already explained this somewhere, I just noticed from a couple posts in here today.

Urs explained that before... but I'm not remembering what he said well enough to paraphrase.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 12:28 am Sorry if you already explained this somewhere, I just noticed from a couple posts in here today.

It's just a reassurance to let people know the plugin works fine in the latest versions of macOS, as this is a frequent question.chagzuki wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 12:04 am What does the support for latest macOS Ventura/Sonoma refer to, since it appears to work fine currently?

Repro has its own voice management. ACE, Bazille, Diva and Hive all share the same. FilterscapeVA, TyrellN6 and Podolski have theirs, while Zebra2s have a modified version of latter.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 12:28 am I notice that ACE, Bazille, Diva and Hive are often grouped together in terms of progress, and Repro is left out. Voice Management is a complicated matter.
Repro will certainly get all those treatments, too, at least it's channel aware already.

I get latest Bitwig beta 5.0.6 crashing not too long after starting it. Checking the log I see issues in scanning presets with non-ASCII characters.

This is probably with CLAP (I don't have the VST3 installed).
If I replace the accented characters, it's all fine. Unsure if this is on u-he or on Bitwig side.

Sounds like Preset Discovery to me... maybe report to Bitwig?
(confirmed from our side, a bug in Bitwig which we had already reported to them)

Yes, please report to Bitwig, it's not a crash on our side, it's Bitwig's preset discovery having problems if preset names include special characters like, for instance, umlauts or accents.EvilDragon wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 8:23 am I get latest Bitwig beta 5.0.6 crashing not too long after starting it. Hello, first, Diva 13510 is not the newest version, please use the RC version posted at the start of this thread.hihat wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 9:19 am hallo ! have on bitwig v 5.0.6 with the new diva version Diva_145_preview_13510_Win a total bitwig crashdown meltdown ! i deinstall diva and install the version before Diva_145_preview_13510_Win this one works fine .
The crash sounds like the problem just discussed directly above your post.
It's a bug in Bitwig, not being able to properly scan presets that contain special characters like umlauts.
