Upgrade from free stratus to full seems incomplete.

I just paid to upgrade Stratus 3 and the only difference seems to be a few articulations. Also, when i watch tutorials I seem to be missing things like TACT bar, styles, hand size hammer on range, etc. Very confused. Thank you, Gordon

If you're looking for the TACT bar, that was integrated into the "Articulations" tab at the top as of Shreddage 3.5 which mae out a few months ago.
The crucial upgrades are an additional 12 frets on each string which massively increases the range of sounds you can produce (plus expands the playable pitch range), as well as having true legato in the form of hammer-ons, pull-offs, and portamento slides. You also get staccato notes, tremolo, tremolo slides, rakes, powerchords... all extremely crucial articulations!
