I had been playing with the idea of making my ddr3, fx-8350 system a windows 11 one; I use the computer for a DAW, and ddr3 in tandem with an older processor.
Download the tool from Guthub Here is the github entry you will need to get your windows .iso ready to be installed on your older system:KingOZRecords wrote: I like old sportscars, old gear: And frankly, it was these old CPU's and a DAW; and those like the core2 that made billions more in the industry than their faster children.

Then, once you have that folder downloaded, do not use the tool.
Download the iso file from the Windows site Download an iso for the windows site:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/softwar ... /windows11
(my url is for Canadians; but it will likely redirect you)
Place the downloaded iso file into the bypass11\ folder Like in the screenshot above, place your windows .iso file into this folder:
Code: Select all
C:\Users\User\Downloads\MediaCreationTool.bat-main\bypass11\Code: Select all
Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmdCode: Select all
Quick_11_iso_esd_wim_TPM_toggle.batNow, when you are ready to install windows 11; double click your .iso file.
However, make sure to change the update while installing setting: Turn the updates while installing off.
Now, follow the setup instructions and you're done!
