I just contributed a really slow moving presets that create some really weird and creepy sounds. There are a lot of great things in this effect. Highly recommended.

Thanks - what's your preset called?

I love really slow moving things.

My preset is called Slow LFO Retriggered Glass Shards
The name is meant to explain that the LFO restarts (retriggers) on each note on event.
This should be combined either with something ominous or creepy as a sound source. I find the rising part of it can be used as a riser, and as a very long slow effect, the rise and fall creates a lot of interest and depth.

Actually, I tend to neglect SpectralDelay because I just see it as a delayed version of Mtransformer?
Please correct me if I'm wrong on that, but as far as I can see, they are both doing the same thing?
But Mtransformer just seems more precise to me, so I much prefer putting that on an Aux.

And actually, Mtransformer is my 2nd most used Mfx (Mdelay gets top spot)

MSpectralDelay is not simply a delayed version of MTransformer, because the spectral FX are inside the feedback loop. So each time the signal loops around, the effect is applied again. For example, you can make the pitch rise by 1 semitone on each delay repeat. Also, you can control delay times and feedback on a per-frequency basis.

I own MTransformer and haven't even tried it yet. I really need to try stuff when I buy it.

Okay there's some total ear rape presets in MTransformer. For example User Exchange Robot Voices.

MTransformer -> MSpectralDelay can do some excellent pad generation work.
