16.08 says it installed successfully, but the VST folders are empty. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling; same result. Reverted to 16.07, and that installed fine. Obviously this seems to be a "just me" issue, so info that may help:
VST3s go in the default folder
VST2s go in a non-default folder on a separate drive
Instrument files go in a separate folder on a separate drive (not the same drive as the VSTs)
Windows 11 22H2
Thanks
16.08 doesn't install

Did you download the installer a few weeks ago? The version at the start of August did indeed fail to install the VST2 & VST3s and then was fixed on the 10th: viewtopic.php?p=8724539#p8724539

Probably. Downloading again fixed it anyway. Thanks. (Can I politely suggest that when you change the download, you change the version number, e.g. 16.08.1? I did check to see if there was a later version and thought there wasn't (admittedly I didn't check the checksum, but that's a bit much to expect when I'm not actually downloading). Maybe you should have sent out an APB as well, since it seems to be a general problem - you can't rely on a forum for people to find problems. I, as an example, very rarely use any forums for any products. Thanks again, anyway. Good response time.)
