IMO the Beatles were great, their solo careers are all mediocre. Same with Pink Floyd.

I bought Tattoo You by The Rolling Stones, when it came out. I think I was still in elementary school. It is maybe the biggest disappointment I've had in buying records. It was my first Stones album. WTF. So bad.

I pretty much hate every hair band, for the most part. I even find myself disliking Van Halen and Def Leppard at times because they are guilty by proximity. I do think Van Halen is overrated.
