Hi Jürgen,

So since Bitwig 5.0.7 it's possible to center values of Pan,Crossfade, EQ Gain, basically every bidirectional control. Now it will perfectly center to 0db with Midi CC value 64 :) [With Bitwigs generic controller script.]

Now since my last post i found out how they implemented the steps. Since you're the midi-master, i'm 99% sure you already saw it yourself, but in case not, it might be interesting for you:

Everything is still equally distanced (-1.56% and +1.56%, -3.13% and +3.13%, etc, etc.).

Only in the end, close to the maximum values, there's a difference of 1.5%.

So on the minus values, the last step before the maximum is -98.4%, and on the opposite, there's +96.9 instead.
So the right side (values above 64) has one value-step less, and it's the step close to the maximum which got deleted.

But the maximum values will still be -100% and +100%, so i think, this is solved quite good, and i prefer this over "never being able to hit zero" !

Just wanted to share that tiny discovery with you, in case it's helpful for your own scripts :)
Best

No, that's currently the default but it is remembered when you change tracks.
When you say "remembered," are you saying it should stay in pad mode when changing tracks? If so, it doesn't do that for me. It always goes back to keyboard.

Watch this:
Sorry for my inexperience but I'm a newbie to all of this. I've watched the video but it does not cover anything on where I can find the patch names. I think I can understand everything else except where the patch names would show up in Bitwig 5.
They show up if you click the respective icon for the Generic Flexi you configured in the title bar of the Bitwig window (as shown in the video). If they do not show up, check your patch name configuration (there is also a video about this in the Generic Flexi playlist).
Professor Moss I have tried everything you said as well as watched the videos. Obviously I am still missing something because i cannot figure it out. Can you please make a video on the proper steps i should follow?
All the info is already in the manual as well as the videos. If you want help you should give some more info where you are stuck exactly. Did you add the preset configurations? Are they in the correct folder? Did you check the Script console for errors?
Professor Moss. Thank you for your patience and input with me. I've seemed to have figured it out.
So I have everything up and running but I have one quick question professor if I can trouble your patience. I have 10 external synths with 10 generic flexi scripts with their patch names all set up and running. In Bitwig I cannot run all 10 scripts at the same time. I have to disable some for the others to show up. How many generic flexis can be ran at the same time? Is there a way to run all 10 simultaneously?

It should but it seems it didn't. Will be fixed in the next update!

Hmm, should work fine. When you say "don't show up", they are not in the title bar? There was such a bug in Bitwig 5 which I thought was fixed by now. Could be still such an issue. Are you running the latest 5.0.7?

Hi Jürgen!,
Today, a new OSC feature wish came up, because I'm creating a Color selector and Fast-Renaming Tool. It's already working wonderfully for Tracks. But sadly, it seems, there's no option to change color/names for "selected Clips". I'm searching for adresses like:
/clip/color (To change color of selected clip)
/clip/name (To change name of selected clip)
Thanks alot :)

Yes I am running the latest version of Bitwig (version 5.0.7) and i can confirm that they all do not show up in the title bar. I can see 8 in the title bar. If i want to see the other 2 scripts I have to disable 2 of the current scripts and then the new scripts will show in the title bar. Maybe it is a bug.

I did report it to Bitwig.

Hi Moss, thank you so much for all your hard work on these scripts, it's been transformative for my workflow and really brings Bitwig to life. I'm using DrivenByMoss with Push 3, and I was wondering about some unexpected (to me at least) behaviour: when Bitwig isn't in focus on my computer, the Push screen goes blank. It's still functional (turning a knob changes whatever parameter was on the screen previously) but yeah, no screen until the Bitwig window is brought up again. Is this normal?

Latest 21.2.0 script with Bitwig 5.0.7 on Linux and starting empty project with Launchkey MK3 script makes that arrow pads are not lighten initially. Pressing the arrow down will light up the upper arrow and scrolling all the way down makes the lower lighten. Pressing the arrow launch makes the that arrow lighten up. Pressing the stp/solo/mute button lights up that button.
Also adding a instrument lights up all 4 keys.

The strange thing is when the Launchkey gets its USB power and connects to the script the buttons light up and then when powered up the lights go out. Its not a big thing though but nice if it can be corrected.

I get crashes from OSC without actually using it.

Can you please check the Script console for a complete stack trace? Press Ctrl+Return and type "console".
Are you using any special characters? E.g. in track or clip names?

On which OS?
