Oh yeah! Forgot about that one. One of the best, IMO. Check out the preset FX/Destructiod bM for some real chaotic fun.

Old, abandoned, but free now and if you ignore small resolution it works as a charm (on Win at least) - Ohmicide

It has three bands max and for each you can set an own feedback. If the feedback is regarded good, compared to HW, I can not say, but at least, since you have three of them, you can achieve interesting results.

I landed on this page because I was looking for a gtr feedback plugin, after researching I realized I already had rift-feedback-lite :-) (https://www.minimal.audio/products/rift-feedback-lite (https://www.minimal.audio/products/rift-feedback-lite)).
It's $15 though, but it REALLY WORKS. amazing. You can even set the notes thats supposed to resonate, ex. you play a C chord and bring a G feedback harmonic, that will sound pretty much like what happens naturally in the natural world.

Having said that, a solution that I haven't tried yet would be to setup a send channel with an amp plugin and an EQ just before. The EQ would chose the freq you want to bring out. Using automation u can : send your gtr to feedback channel gradually, emulating the build-up of feedback, gradually bring out different frequencies in your EQ, like fundamental + octave first then 5th, then 3rd...
A bit complicated setup, but would probably beat any Feedback emulation plugins
