Does anyone know if Goran Grooves offers upgrade paths to the Producer Collection? I'm new to his mailing list. He seems to have 2 promos going currently. Is this normal? Are there long stretches where everything is full price?

I only had their Country MIDI pack before this week's sales. Hadn't gotten a newsletter from them for some time. I don't follow them, but I remember that half-off of the posted retail price happened a couple of times when I checked. So maybe that was normal? This is the first time I've seen down this low.

Your question made me curious, so I just now placed the Producer Pack in my cart, and it did subtract the $17.50 I paid yesterday for the rock drums. Didn't subtract for the MIDI pack, though. Incidentally, I got that one in February for $10, rather than the current 'sale' price of $20, so maybe it's just about keeping an eye on it.

As usual, Black Friday looms. But I don't see how they could get much lower than the current sale on individual kits.

I really like the dead-simple interface with a good-sounding drum kit that is what it is. No choice paralysis at all.

Thank for the info! I don't think the MIDI libraries are included in the Producer Collection, so that's probably why it wasn't subtracted. I think the website subtracting exactly what you've spent already is both fair and telling in terms of what we might expect for upgrades (except for a Black Friday sitch). The stuff sounds great and I love the way he's doing things. But I'm probably in the wait for Black Friday category because I have more drum VSTs than I don't have drum VSTs. Although that could change with whatever the next 3 days' 50% kits are...

Happy to help! What I do is take screenshots of sales of certain companies sales and loosely track their prices, looking for the best time to buy. I'm a thrifty bargain-hunter

Unless a "Pricespy" for plugins already exists, it would be a good idea for someone to start a website that tracked plugin prices. If anyone wants to launch a company let's do it haha.
