Is there a feature I didn't take into consideration?
(I mentioned "isolated, filtered & short-circuit-protected outputs", amperage, footprint of the power plug, size, modularity, availability of replacement power plugs, and the fact I never had any problem with any of the 17 units I'm using)
Or do you perhaps put more trust in Cioks' implementation of the isolation?
I mount the DC7 on the underside of my homemade pedal board which is pretty low to the
ground. It also fits well among other gear with my limited desk space. I wish they made
dedicated Eurorack power as well...
It's the same with pedals, most of mine are boutique, hand crafted and point to point
wired analog, aside from a few digital pedals like the Hologram and Strymon stuff...
Even with Digital, I tend to stick to the Analog Devices DSP chip based designs...
