It's just so much fun to make fun of the angry man. I bet there is a Simpsons or Southpark episode about something like that

I don't know you or your intentions, but it seems a bit mean to treat other people like that. Why not let him get on with his life, and you yours.

You are probably right

I think the ladder filter is the best filter ever created and makes everything sound good. Anybody disagree?

It's definitely a classic one, it's my favourite as well.

I remember there's another kvr user that always have argument with everyone. Forgot his name. His avatar is like hand drawing person's face. Maybe they're the same person? Lol

Flip sides of the same coin for sure :D

Has anyone mentioned Microtonic, or are drum synths not allowed here? Cos that is still a beaut.
But in more direct response to the OP, I'm still stoked with Dune 2. Sonic bliss.

xalama qo wrote: Mon Sep 25, 2023 8:18 amYou're so full of self-contradictory spaghetti logic dude, none of your "arguments" hold up to any sort of scrutiny.
You do understand that beyond the first point about being able to like more than one instrument, I was just winding people up, right? The reality is that it's pretty much impossible to compare these two synths, they are just too different. So they will appeal to users with entirely different needs/preferences, although I'm sure that plenty of people would find room for both in their set-ups. Objectively, it is obvious that Massive X is a much "better" synth but that doesn't automatically mean that everyone will like it more. Olga is a much more specialised instrument, so it has a narrower appeal, but if you are in its target demographic, it's very likely you'll find way more use for it than you will for Massive X, which has to appeal to a much broader market and so is necessarily less focused.
That's why most of us here don't bother to engage with you and your miniscule keyhole worldview.
No, it's because you aren't able to justify the dumbass decisions you make so you either have no comebacks or you lack the courage of your convictions. You buy the things that everyone else is using or that your favourite artist uses and, beyond that, you have no real idea why you chose those particular tools or techniques.

You don't question and you don't think for yourselves, yet you make everything personal. e.g. You read "you" in the previous paragraph and assume it means "xalama qo", when it clearly means anyone/everyone in a very generalised sense, where there will always be exceptions. But you know you are unexceptional, so you assume the "you" means you personally. Otherwise you'd read it, think "that's not about me" and move on.
You clearly have no clue when you're embarrassing yourself.
That's a big assumption. Embarrassment is for losers, I am never embarrassed fo rmyself, only for the folly of others.
Look in the mirror. See the knucklehead? Get him some help. He'll be a lot happier.
I'm not a narcissist, I don't have a mirror. But I can assure you that, despite my best efforts, I am a far happier person than you'll ever be. It's actually kind of annoying but it apparently comes naturally with age. Something to do with nerve connections in the brain.

This is the most entertaining I've ever seen from this member.
Much more than the "music" that gets linked.
And "just to wind others up" is by definition, trolling.

 :troll:

O.T. I sometimes wonder what the block is for those listing many synth that turn them all into the same one with their programming.

Spaghetti logic again.
And I know you weren't talking about me when you were saying you...you don't know me well enough... not at all. So I don't get confused by your ramblings. Sorry.
I generally know what I do and why I do it pretty darn well, and most of the time it goes against the general hive mind here, so don't draw any conclusions just because I mentioned Dune 2 as my choice for my "can't sound bad" synth.
Having a mirror doesn't mean you're a narcissist. Interesting that you make that connection though.
Been lovely chatting Bones. I've run out of time. Wishing you all the best though with your delusional happiness due to brain deterioration, or whatever disease you're suffering/not suffering from. Ignorance is bliss, right?
