I feel really stupid now.

I own many, many plugins - and if I ever sold one, I can't remember.
Today, i decided to sell Gullfoss - turns out Soundtheory charges a transfer fee $25 per calendar year of ownership (+ $25 for PACE).
I bought it in 2019 (and never used it until now!) so total transfer fee = $150

I feel kinda stupid for buying it in the first place (as I suspect mastery and application of ProQ would get me in the ballpark) but I do have the excuse that I'm not knowledgeable/experienced, so the automagical approach of Gullfoss appealed to me.

Some people are even worse off, though - they're complaining they got a NFR licence just cause they bought Gullfoss at a discount (AFAICT I did get a full licence though, despite having 'only' paid €71,90 excluding VAT).

Note to self: Soundtheory? Never again

You might look at Soundtheory's EULA, and if not explicitly prohibited, an account takeover would theoretically be on the table for you to find a buyer at some clearing price between say €0 and €71.90.

Soundtheory is just a despicable company. I'll never do business with them again because of their draconian EULA.
