That's the one thing I'd like on more of their compressors. Is it a vst3 thing? Think I read somewhere they're working on it for more of them so that'd be great if true. The 1176 seems like a good candidate.

What do people think of their fairchild? I don't need another compressor but for 14 bucks it's in the 'why not' range.

So there's been a total of 3 UADTUESDAY coupons so far?
Anyone been able to use the coupon 4 times?

It seems that you get another coupon when they reset even if you haven't used one yet.
So if you still haven't any UADTUESDAY coupons, you can do 3 in a row as of now, at least.

It seems like perhaps they release another coupon every 2 days, so if that's correct, there should be one more on Monday.

Did UA support give you Thank You coupons even for purchases you made with Thank You coupons?

I've been getting these extremely cheap offers for UAD plugins lately.... I'm honestly a bit surprised

I tried Spark some time ago and the plugins are definitely worth it. The newer versions are excellent and can't be compared to the old emulations I still know from the UAD 1... But other developers can do that too. Many apparently also use circuit modelling and (just as an example) the Pultec emulations from Black Rooster are not worse...

So, IMO the native UAD plugins are still worth it but they are not a "holy grail". I personally don't need them.

Black Rooster doesn't appear to support VST3.

Plus, just the EQP-1A plugin from Black Rooster is $39. It's another $29 for their MEQ-5 plugin.
You can get the whole collection of 3 Pultec plugins from UAD for $39 right now.

So, $29 more for "not worse" and no VST3...?

Thanks guys for the heads-up. I also confirm using the UADTUESDAY coupon for the third time. Got the Manley VOXBOX Channel Strip for $14. Glad I did not grab it yesterday on Plugin Boutique - I was hoping for a better freebie from today, which is still not updated as of this post.

One more UADTUESDAY reset and I am not sure which one to pick first from - Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb, Fairchild Tube Limiter Collection and dbx 160 Compressor / Limiter. Any suggestions? I do have Arturia LX-24 and Waves equivalent of the two compressors, but for $14 I'd definitely buy a UA one.

My price @uaudio is 97€ minus 50 (coupon). Tax, I guess. Much more expensive than @audiodeluxe but there are 25$ coupons then...

That's a tough one, because you know the UA compressors are going to be way better than Waves' versions. But the Arturia 224 doesn't include the chorus program, while UAD does. Though those plugins will be pretty comparable otherwise.

UAD still worth it?
