I tried in both rosetta and native under newest Logic, no problems. That said, Logic got completely f***ed recently, but things seem to be better under the sodoma (or how is it called) macos to be released.

more followup...this is how to cause an instant crash...
1)...instantiate a mono audio track, and populate with an audio region
2)...instantiate MGA
3)...punch "doubler"...and there ya'go...CRASH!!...Cheers!.../s~
