Hey, the Drum Multisampler in MSF - how can I use that? Do I need to own MDrummer to use that one?
Not quite clear to me

Well, you need to have multisamples for that - our proprietary format we use for MDrummer packs. You can create your own ones from drum sample recordings if that's what you are up to, but then you need MDrummer indeed.

I was expecting that if I download MDrummer packs, I would be able to access those multisamples from the Multisampler in MSF. But the sample browser in the Multisampler doesn't "see" anything. So is it like a locked module that only works if I have an MDrummer License?

I don't think you need to an MDrummer license to use the samples in MSF, but since I have a an MDrummer license, I can't say for sure.

To make it work, you need to install one of these packages:
