You spent how much with us? $11? We even gave you a free IK Multimedia plugin. Yet here you are bitching away on the internet. Do you seriously have nothing else to do? Do you really think we give a s**t about your measly $11? We'll get around to it when we're good and ready.
Now f**k off and leave us alone.

Just to inject a little positivity here, TAL is one of my favorite devs, I believe their prices are fair considering how much the hardware being emulated goes for and how accurate the emulations are. Also love that TAL doesn't require download managers, authorizations, and other arcane registration weirdness. A dev worth supporting in my book.

I emailed him a link to a YT video of a band who were using a Jupiter 8. I really liked the synth sound but had no idea how to recreate it. Within about half an hour he sent me back a near identical preset for Tal J-8.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

+1. I sent a bug report and within a few hours he fixed them and sent me an installer for the newest version that wasn't even released to the public yet.osofaux wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 11:52 pm Just to inject a little positivity here, TAL is one of my favorite devs, I believe their prices are fair considering how much the hardware being emulated goes for and how accurate the emulations are. Why are you so worked up?
It’s a f**king sale on a virtual product… 0’s and 1’s =$11.
A fair price as far as I’m concerned

A fair price as far as you're concerned would be $0 or -$11. You know, get J-8 and 11 dollors.simmo75 wrote: Sat Oct 07, 2023 12:40 amBa haha! You’re hilariousmi-os wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 10:46 pm This rude entitlement mentality is disgusting. Some people have absolutely no shame.![]()

I have over $20000 worth of hardware synths, and really appreciate a quality physical product.
I think software in general is overpriced, but $11 is ok by me. Cheers!

I participated in that thread, looks like it's too hard for some.mi-os wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 10:19 pm Is it really that hard to understand? These absurdly low prices are adverse for TAL in the long run. It's hurting his company. TAL prices are reasonable to begin with. Hence he never discounts his products the same way as others, like 29 down from 299. It wouldn't make economic sense. These plugins aren't just simple saturators either.

Apparently you have no idea about software development, regardless of how many dollors worth your synths are (they are just keys and wooden panels right?).
Yeah, I have $2000000 worth of some other stuff, that's why I'm entitled to post that hardware synth are wooden panels and keys, and the fair price is whatever i can find during New York City blackout
Good lack waiting for your Drum, hope it will be refunded or NFR'd

The same for Plugin Alliance. When I see full price or 49.99 my immediate reaction is to wait.Uncle E wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2023 9:26 pm Would you ever pay more than $29.99 for a Waves plugin? If you wouldn’t, you’re proof that over-discounting devalues products.
