Ba haha! You’re hilarious 😂
Why are you so worked up?
It’s a f**king sale on a virtual product… 0’s and 1’s =$11.
A fair price as far as I’m concerned :)
A fair price as far as you're concerned would be $0 or -$11. You know, get J-8 and 11 dollors.
I assume for physical products too.
Luckily for us, you're not in charge
Yeah, okay mate :)
I have over $20000 worth of hardware synths, and really appreciate a quality physical product.
I think software in general is overpriced, but $11 is ok by me. Cheers!
Yeah, okay pal :)
Apparently you have no idea about software development, regardless of how many dollors worth your synths are (they are just keys and wooden panels right?).

Yeah, I have $2000000 worth of some other stuff, that's why I'm entitled to post that hardware synth are wooden panels and keys, and the fair price is whatever i can find during New York City blackout :clown: (I'm still waiting for my TR808 though)

Good lack waiting for your Drum, hope it will be refunded or NFR'd :tu:
Bahahaha! Meow bitch!
All because the lady loves paying full price for sale software….
I don’t know a great deal about software development, and I don’t give a f**k. But to me there’s actually value in hardware, that I dont see in a virtual plugin. Sending you a big hug! Mwah 😘
You still don't realise it was a pricing error and TAL is not a "sale software"?
Sweet denial.

Let us know when you get the Drum. Or when someone ****s you up cause they would think that your precious synths (or other possessions) are "sale stuff".
Or may be you've been, that's why you roll the way you roll - like a clown nose, beep beep :clown:

What exactly is your problem with the price? I don't get it.

Pure envy for missing on the deal of course.
<list your stupid gear here>

I just wonder why this shouldn't be a fair price. A fair price = the price seller sets and buyer buys for.

Audio Deluxe may even sell these licenses for less than they bought them in for, to create attention for their shop, and create more sales on other products than they would have been, if they hadn't done this sale. I don't understand why some people think this is not fair.

If anything, the only thing that's not fair is that they only had so little licenses, and were sold out after a few hours, if even.

They used to call that a 'loss leader'. Selling one product much cheaper than all the other supermarkets would attract a large amount of new customers who would come for the bargain and inevitably do all of the rest of their shopping in that new place.

Not sure if I explained that very well but yeah, you could be right imho.

I don't have a "problem with price" per se.
But bad pricing is harmful for a vendor (especially a small vendor like TAL).

I don't care about past sales. I get my instruments (at least the best ones, like TAL) in time to make music and get chicks, not waiting for sales (and for chicks to become grandmas).

I just root for Patrick much more than for some entitled morons which think that SW is "0s and 1s with no value", especially when such harmful pricing is happening on the distributor side.

I want to see the next TAL instrument, not "J-8 for zero dollors"

What’s wrong with grandmas?

0s and 1s nowadays have more value than most physical things. It was a very silly comment.

Everyone, have a nice weekend.

I don't understand this amount of drama.

Drama is on sale ATM. Only $13. :P

Also the "I don't need this synth but for this price I'll get it..." is a very silly consumption statement well. if you don't something, why you should get it? (even if it's free).

Later the same people start the same thread "I suffered from G.A.S, but I'm enlighten now, I know now that less is more...bla bla bla".

You don't need it? just stay away, any other choice will be a useless distraction from making music.

Paying 13$ for something you don't need is still a waste of money and an effort (and waiting nervously for an email which may never arrive...).

Of course, if you really need it, buy it, these are great tools, but if you don't need it? stay away. I demoed both couple of times and was very impressed, but I have already 4,5 great synths which cover everything I need so don't have any regret for missing the "deal".

It's NOT a "great deal" for you if you don't need the tool, it's only a great deal for someone who actually needs it.

Maybe they could have said something like "We have (e.g.) 80 licenses at this price" so at least people would know what's up.

Maybe just be a little bit more patient and just let things clear up themselves... which might not be on this weekend. :?

Hi,

Apologies for the delay in processing your TAL Software license.

We are waiting on the US Distributor to provide more licenses and have been told they are waiting on TAL Software.

We appreciate your patience.

By the way I always thought resellers were buying directly from the developers/companies.
I didn't know there was a middleman, before reading that Reddit post and now their apology email.
