It looks like my post hit a nerve with you. Thanks for confirming my findings. Didn't even cost me a buck. All just 0's and 1's = $0.simmo75 wrote: Sat Oct 07, 2023 12:40 amBa haha! Why are you so worked up?
It’s a f**king sale on a virtual product… 0’s and 1’s =$11.
A fair price as far as I’m concerned![]()

I assume for physical products too.
Luckily for us, you're not in charge![]()
It's also kind of wrong to wait till chicks become grandmas instead of getting grandmas right away.

I understand your preaching if it was 13 dollars.nirm123 wrote: Sat Oct 07, 2023 10:39 am Also the "I don't need this synth but for this price I'll get it..." is a very silly consumption statement well. if you don't something, why you should get it? (even if it's free).
Later the same people start the same thread "I suffered from G.A.S, but I'm enlighten now, I know now that less is more...bla bla bla".
You don't need it? just stay away, any other choice will be a useless distraction from making music.
Paying 13$ for something you don't need is still a waste of money and an effort (and waiting nervously for an email which may never arrive...).
Of course, if you really need it, buy it, these are great tools, but if you don't need it? stay away. I demoed both couple of times and was very impressed, but I have already 4,5 great synths which cover everything I need so don't have any regret for missing the "deal".
It's NOT a "great deal" for you if you don't need the tool, it's only a great deal for someone who actually needs it.
But it was 11 dollars for J-8 dude!!!!!
I mean, come on!

+ If you are in music production because of the chicks… then you’re everything that is wrong with the current state of the music business. I don’t direct this at you personally by the way, I’m just generalising.

I have over $20000 worth of hardware synths, and really appreciate a quality physical product.
I think software in general is overpriced, but $11 is ok by me. Cheers!
Apparently you have no idea about software development, regardless of how many dollors worth your synths are (they are just keys and wooden panels right?).
Yeah, I have $2000000 worth of some other stuff, that's why I'm entitled to post that hardware synth are wooden panels and keys, and the fair price is whatever i can find during New York City blackout(I'm still waiting for my TR808 though)
Good lack waiting for your Drum, hope it will be refunded or NFR'd![]()
All because the lady loves paying full price for sale software….
I don’t know a great deal about software development, and I don’t give a f**k. But to me there’s actually value in hardware, that I dont see in a virtual plugin. Sending you a big hug! Mwah![]()
Sweet denial.
Let us know when you get the Drum. Or when someone ****s you up cause they would think that your precious synths (or other possessions) are "sale stuff".
Or may be you've been, that's why you roll the way you roll - like a clown nose, beep beep![]()
You are a very weird little man, with sales issues…
It wasn’t a mistake, it was a sale! Stuff goes on sale all the time!
You’re obviously pissed because you missed out, and are selling a TAL-MOD license for $35, underpriced!!!! Oh the irony….
I’ll buy it off you as an act of kindness… $11?

Apparently, you have short memory issues, as I was stating that such "sale" was not approved by Patrick as it would hurt a small business.simmo75 wrote: Sat Oct 07, 2023 3:10 pm

I'm selling one instance of TAL instrument in an agreement stated on TAL website, and I don't use an erroneous price to sell an entire stock of instrument "to attract people to my webshop and not give a **** about TAL".
But that doesn't matter for the discussion, you won't see the difference, or will stay in denial, cause it's just software. 0, 1, Beep, beep
I don't care if you chase sales. I chase them too when they are developer sales.
I just hope that your entitlement to assess the value of software development won't bite off your *$$ when someone decides to assess your **it.
Just keep squeezing your nose waiting for Drum (or for Serum sale, or Omnispehere sale)

I mean, if I’m very critical, merely as a customer, I don’t care how much I paid, I don’t care how much it was worth, I don’t care if it was a sale or error. None of that is my issue. I bought something 2 days ago that I still haven’t received. And there is no physical delivery required, no manufacturing time. That’s quite bad to be fair. Still not complaining, just saying.
I’m respectfully crawling back to my cave and continue waiting, patiently.

In France displaying the price is mandatory. And it is mandatory to sell the product at the displayed price.... Except if the price is actually so irrelevant to the product value that it is an obvious tag error.audiouser720 wrote: Sat Oct 07, 2023 4:07 pm I mean, if I’m very critical, merely as a customer, I don’t care how much I paid, I don’t care how much it was worth, I don’t care if it was a sale or error. Patrick generally doesn't answer his emails on weekends.
Which I understand. Have to keep that work/ life balance..
Though i still think it was a disastrous wound on TAL, I am sure he will honour those that have already been sold.

Surely this wasn’t anything to do with TAL as a company, I’m presuming this was a deal arranged by TAL’s distributor, with Audiodeluxe.zvenx wrote: Sat Oct 07, 2023 4:33 pm Patrick generally doesn't answer his emails on weekends.
