Ok, I am not not finished testing. :)

Extern midi in works but no NOTE OFF,
so I have to forct quit task.

Just a request please:
Can you please always set the sf2 to have a longer
Release time, when dumping please ?
Than testing the saved sf2 is nicer
and the ADSR, can than be changed directly with
sfz or other sf2-players.
(or the Articulation will still act like OFF)

Also a "NORMALIZE", would be very good.
But !
You have to find the loudest wav of a dump first
and then normalize all other wav in relation to this.
Simply normalizing every sample will not be very good.
Add a check box for NORMALIZE (on/off)

I continue testing ! :D
Good work CCT !!! :)

Sorry for not commenting on the last builds.
Will take the lastest one with me on my laptop when going to my parent's place over x-mas and get back to you next week!

Seems you're doing a kickass job, CCT!

Hello

Good news is that my friend lend me his old Yamaha V50 :) I fixed midi in bug, also i created new device - input.
New input device can:
- be placed anywhere in chain
- send midi messages to midi out
- act as VSTi instrument.
So what it mean ?
Today i created first sf2 from external device
(dumped one full preset from V50 :) )
Direct Sound driver was removed, but ASIO driver selector was added :)

Becase i need to code latency compensation for input device (- there will be possible to mix vsti plugins and external devices and create new sounds from them)
and make some things more usable - next release at monday.

 Wao CCT !!! :o

You are so fast coding, when you don't surf the Internet !

I am really impressed !

Oh, I nearly forgot...

Merry Christmas everybody !

This sounds incredible.
I can hardly wait to get back from the holidays and try this out!

And I can hardly wait for the final release. I wonder how much it will cost ...

Great that hardware dumping works !
How did you do it ?

Shall I make you crazy CCT ?
How about a "Rewire" dump too ?
Should work just like the hardware synth dump.
(not so sure about this, but could work)

Anyway... the most important thing is to get the
looping working !

Merry Christmas !

V-dumper got new gui :)
http://audiolabz.com/vd04n.jpg

Also autolooping is ready (experimental, but works)
Depth wheel is for xfade depth or length (in percents)
Size is for loop size (in percents)

Loop end is setted near noteoff message.

Midiworks: external device sampling was simple :)
I just needed following ingredients:
- audio input (from asio)
- new sampling mode (realtime)
- buffered temp file saving
- plugin that capture signal from input and sends
it to mixing engine (simple fifo queue) and
sends midi messages to device.
- envelope detector to cut samples

Unfortunately i cant send bigger files to server - i created some sf2 from v50, autolooped etc. :) cool.

Hmm rewire... but how to get sdk ? :)

Greetz :)

CCT - the new GUI looks wonderful.

Is there a new link to download the latest version?

Just stumbled on this thread. Great idea and great work so far CCT! I've used Chainer in the past to create samples, and I'd love something that automates more of the process:

-creates multisamples in 32-bit 96khz
-removes silence below a threshold db level
-normalizes each sample
-downsamples to 16/44 or 32 khz
-auto-crossfade loops each sample

Also its very cool what you've done to enable dumping external gear :) Too bad I sold all of mine ;) Oh well, maybe I'll rent a few synths from the music store when this program is complete :D

only just discovered this :-o
seems great but...
cant seem to get it to dump at the moment,it goes through the motions but the files are empty?
as i say only just discovered it so gimme time to read the thread and manual 8)
