who did he harm? everyone got refunds after a couple days (which as refunds go, is pretty standard/quick)
Who was injured? Mostly business honesty and fairness. Probably Audiodeluxe too, who started being talked about as a scam site on reddit and twitter etc.
Those who trusted similar webshops.

I don't want to write any more about it, this forum really shouldn't be for that. It would be better to have the discussions about J-8 here.
I think there is really a lot of blindness and one-sided love here (to this synthesizer - and it deserves it).

I cocnur with that. I wouldn't care if it was the most accurate of the bunch. It's the worst sounding.

Does anybody knows if TAL J-8 implementation of CLAP allows for external polyphonic modulation ?
In the change log they say "CLAP plug-in format including support for polyphonic expressions added" but I am not really sure of what it encompasses.

I haven't received any correspondence or refund from AD on my order of Drum. The license code still is pending on the order. I don't know if they will refund me before contacting them. I am curious to find out.

TAL deals with Audio Deluxe
I can confirm that TAL did not deal with Audiodeluxe.
I guess I don't understand the situation then. How did TAL agree to the sale if they didn't deal with Audio Deluxe?

They agreed on the sale, but misunderstood the discount. TAL thought they meant 13% off, Audio Deluxe wanted to do a 87% off i.e. 13% sale. TAL realized that after a few licneses were already sold, and stopped delivering serials.

That's how I understood it. So, surely TAL must have dealt with the serial distributor, and/or Audio Deluxe directly.

Yeah that was my understanding as well, and I thought in the communication someone posted here TAL mentioned dealing with Audio Deluxe via email (which was the cause of the misunderstanding).

I don't remember where in this massive thread it was, so I thought the person who replied to me might have better knowledge of the situation based on their reply.

I like the way you debate, lol.
Funny enough, just before your answer I was debating with more polite and interresting persons if yes or no this thread was full of drama-queens and keyboard warriors.
You offer a cheap answer :D .
Ironically enough you have given definitive proof that this thread is "full of drama-queens and keyboard warriors" and also toadying sycophants.

What are you talking about? If someone was harmed it's TAL.
