tbh most SD cards are micro SD with a free SD sized adaptor these days.
It’s the TRS MIDI ports that I dislike.
Just watched this, pretty cool Push style controller for £350, has 4 lots of CV note and gate CV out as well as MIDI.
Seems divisive from the comments though as no pots or physical faders

It’s £329 in the stores. £299 by Christmas?
It’s reminded me I have a NI Maschine Jam in a cupboard somewhere which will probably never get used again. Probably zero chance of selling it.

To be honest, I never liked the Iridium layout, so the core seems like a nice idea but still at a ridiculous price for me. However I love it's minimalism.

Today is my birthday. A few days ago, I ordered a vintage synth to celebrate.
It won't arrive today, but that's okay. I need some time to make room for it!
Wish me luck, that it arrives next week safe and sound, and in good working order.

I always liked the aesthetics of these synths. They remind of of the TV show Miami Vice, and the paintings of Patrick Nagel. This was made by Ensoniq during their prime. I would have somewhat preferred a TS-10, with an unweighted synth key bed and polyphonic aftertouch, but I got this for a bargain price I couldn't pass up. Also, I have to admit, it does feel cool to have a former flagship model. I just hope it arrives in good working order.

I had my eyes on a SD-1/32 that cash generator were selling for £500, but by the time payday came round it was gone.

I know exactly how that feels! It seems like most of the fantastic deals appear when I'm low on funds. Then when I do have the money, the nicest deals are all gone!WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Oct 13, 2023 5:54 pmI had my eyes on a SD-1/32 that cash generator were selling for £500, but by the time payday came round it was gone.

Yeah, I have given and bought stuff on credit in the past but now interest rates have hoiked up I don’t want to play that game. It is only a (stupidly expensive) hobby for me.
