Feature(s) which keep MuLab from being your primary DAW?

I still want more MIDI power. I want much more stateful MIDI support, so that I can have filtering of events based on any previous event of a different "type" - e.g. "if the current Program Number is 52 and the previous CC4 value was below 97 and the MIDI Input Device for the current event was AudioFire4, allow this event, otherwise drop it". (A bit like a firewall filter table.) I can do it in Kontakt, for example. I could probably do it in Reaper. Both using scripting languages, of course. I guess, until there's some form of scripting, this won't be feasible in MuLab.
