Must be different to how they deal with the V-collection upgrades then, because they 100% cannot be sold - I know, I have half a dozen of them sitting in my account with 'cannot be sold' alerts next to them. Good to hear the fx collections function differently, but also a bit strange.kevinsparks wrote: Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:22 amFalse. Any specific end date for this? Will a similar sale probably be available around Black Friday?Uncle E wrote: Wed Oct 25, 2023 5:54 am 73% off IK Multimedia Sunset Sound Studio Reverb, now $39.99 instead of $149:

It ends October 30. This is the first of a series of short term deals IK will be running.

Hmm... while it would be cheaper for me with jam points if the sale gets offered on IK's site, I'd assume the serial would then automatically be registered. Whereas if I buy at JRR Shop and wait until the next summer group buy in which Sunset Sounds is included I'd get in at the $150 tier.Uncle E wrote: Wed Oct 25, 2023 5:10 pm It ends October 30. But if I don't like IK's new reverbs as much as or better than Acustica, Inspirata, Soundtoys Plate, etc. then it would probably be a waste of money for me, since I don't care for their other plugins (Modo Bass is okay, but like the rest of their plugins, there are others that I think sound much better). The nostalgia factor is a little tempting, but when I listen back to, say, the old Doors or Tom Waits songs produced at Sunset Studio I don't actually love the reverb all that much.

It's the first in a series of really great deals they'll be running over the next few weeks. The last one will put you in an even higher Group Buy tier. With that said, I think IK did a great job with Sunset Sound. Worth a demo.Ou_Tis wrote: Wed Oct 25, 2023 7:32 pm Hmm... while it would be cheaper for me with jam points if the sale gets offered on IK's site, I'd assume the serial would then automatically be registered. Arturia made some big changes with their transfer policies in the last 12 or so months, so what was possible in the past might no longer be the case.kinkajou wrote: Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:29 amThen you haven't "upgraded" but "crossgraded". There is a slight difference between these to paths and depends on the plugins you already own.kevinsparks wrote: Wed Oct 25, 2023 11:22 am False. But i don't know how this exactly works, because i can always sell my older FX collections (as FULL versions) without any hassle and i'm still on an actual FULL version, not an "upgrade".
I went from FX Collection to FX3 Collection and when I sold FX3 six months ago, FX1 went with it.

Turns out jam points can't be used with these IK deals: "Use code WEEKLYKRAZY at checkout* to get your Krazy Deals.
*JamPoints cannot be combined with coupon codes"
Just listened to IK's official male and female vocal demos for Sunset Sound on their website (which should have higher quality audio than Youtube etc.) and I don't love any of them. Still on my Black Friday "maybe" list to demo next month, especially if the reverbs mix especially well with each other and the result of that sounds better than the IK demos (which are apparently only one reverb at a time, not room or iso into chamber in parallel with room or iso into plate), but if I can wait to get a better deal again sometime other than BF I'll probably pass. So this sale might make me less likely to buy than I otherwise would have.

Sure I saw a Facebook ad recently offering a three issue sub to computer music for £3, can’t find it now, anyone know who it was through? Thanks.

Would someone share this month's unused $25 voucher from Plugin-Alliance? I'd welcome it gleefully. Please PM me.
Thanks.
*Edit:
It turns out, despite the helpful hands in this community, a 2nd discount cannot be applied to THX's new plugin other than the automated discount from having a similar one from PA...
So, thanks a lot to you who step in, appreciated.
Thanks.

With Mercury-4's recent HB pricing, this seems quite counter-productive to consider purchasing.Uncle E wrote: Mon Oct 30, 2023 3:55 pm Limited time Cherry Audio Mercury Bundle with Mercury-6 and Mercury-4 now $59 for one week only:

Any other bundling from them that might actually be tempting coming up?

Thank you for the info. First time in ages I actually needed a voucher too! Such bad timing. I have bought a lot of Plugin-Alliance software and therefore haven't made a purchase in a while because I am generally stocked up. Until today...GaryG wrote: Mon Oct 16, 2023 1:32 pmFirst time in ages I didn't get one but then I haven't spent anything with them for at least a year or so. Genuinely good luck for this NSpace. I had no idea they changed the loyalty voucher until reading through this thread. I made a purchase so hopefully I am back in the threshold for next month.Nspace wrote: Mon Oct 30, 2023 12:18 am Would someone share this month's unused $25 voucher from Plugin-Alliance? guessing they're gong back to their old methodology, spend $50 get a $25 voucher or whatever it was...AndrewAndrew wrote: Mon Oct 30, 2023 5:48 pm Thank you for the info. On a different note; I noticed Readlys two months free offer is working for people who have previously used it before again (like, say, me). Maybe of interest if anyone wanted to browse eg. Computer Music over the next month or so...
