My latest album "E tenebris oritur lux" is released today on Bandcamp. This is the eleventh release by Whatsisname, and is a collection of mainly melodic, cinematic pieces, built upon soundbeds which would probably not be out of place on an ambient album. There are some dark moments, but the album also facilitates relaxed listening.
It has a running time of over 65 minutes. All tracks were originally written between 2016 and 2021, and final mixing/polishing took place between 2018 and 2023, in parallel with other projects.
It features 8 tracks and is available as a download for £5.00 in a choice of encodings.

1. L'Énergie Concentrée
2. Tears in Rain
3. Disproportionate
4. Illuminate
5. Sagarmatha
6. Sol Rides the Celestial Elevator
7. Subaqueous
8. Illuminate, too
I hope that you will enjoy it

Moody, noisy, droney, dark ambient-adjacent cousin-to-Berlin-School occasionally-shaking-hands-with-industrial, improvisation. Modular hardware and lots of software, with a tiny bit of bass guitar and electric kalimba and a brief visit from K.O. II.
Free/PWYW on Bandcamp.

My latest short album (EP) 'Retro' is out on bandcamp and is a mixture of revised older tracks and new ones all preformed in a 1960s/1970s style, and entirely within the Yoshimi soft-synth. Each track has some notes in the 'Info' link.

It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

AVAILABLE NOW! My first EBM/Industrial album as Missiles Kill Militants. I've been working on this one for several years and am extremely happy with the edgy layered sound field and psychoacoustic depth I've added to specific elements in the mix. This is a labour of love as this genre is the one I embody most. Available on all streaming services and for 24bit/48KHz download.
