External SSD, how to stop it from going to sleep on Windows 10?

Getting a new SSD tomorrow and could use some help with the Windows 10 settings. I'll be connecting it to a USB 3 port but I understand that it's best if you keep it from going to sleep if you want to put Kontakt instruments etc on it and load them from it. So I hope someone here can tell me how to do just that. I did some google searches but it doesn't help that my Windows 10 is in dutch trying to figure this stuff out.

Well I found it. in device manager or as my system says apparaatbeheer.

If I'm going to be using this SSD on Windows only should I format it to NTFS?

NTFS is best suited for using a drive with Windows devices.

too bad I already put half my stuff on it while exFat.

Yeah, NTFS generally preferable. But, FWIW, definitely use exFAT if you're using the drive with a Mac as well.
