- Today, I tried to log in to see if my v1 was available again - after entering my email, I get a notification a mail has been sent with details on how to log in. That email doesn't arrive.

I've received three of their plugins over the years and never received a login (and the Novation Sound Collective offer of Parallel Aggressor was literally just a downloadable link on their website) and in the case of NYC v1 and and Spaced Out I just received registration codes rather than login information.

Also keep in mind that PA won't be issuing voucher in months of November and December.

Flux.audio had an amazing "upgrade + cross-grade sale" at the beginning of the year...I am a owner and I missed it. I use an HDx system, and the DSP versions would be amazing. But I am still on Mac Intel.

Now a "new sale" has started, however, it not quite the same amazing deal...and it goes to January 5th, 2023? And Flux has added a RTO 'rent-to-own' option.

Anyone think Black Friday might bring back Flux's January 2023 sale prices? Just curious for opinions and insight as we head towards BF.

It ends October 30. This is the first of a series of short term deals IK will be running.

Hmm... while it would be cheaper for me with jam points if the sale gets offered on IK's site, I'd assume the serial would then automatically be registered. Whereas if I buy at JRR Shop and wait until the next summer group buy in which Sunset Sounds is included I'd get in at the $150 tier.

But if I don't like IK's new reverbs as much as or better than Acustica, Inspirata, Soundtoys Plate, etc. then it would probably be a waste of money for me, since I don't care for their other plugins (Modo Bass is okay, but like the rest of their plugins, there are others that I think sound much better). The nostalgia factor is a little tempting, but when I listen back to, say, the old Doors or Tom Waits songs produced at Sunset Studio I don't actually love the reverb all that much.

Only new purchases qualify for group buys so previously-purchased serials will not qualify for future group buys. It worked that way for the last group buy (and I don't recall how many before that, I believe at least the previous one too). Just in case people are still banking on this, I don't want them to get disappointed when it doesn't work.

Well, this is real bargain (for German users only, sorry):

Get yourself a membership of your local library. Before doing so, check online if they offer access to pressreader.com. I know a lot of them provide this (i.e. Library of Cologne, but also libraries of smaller towns like Mönchengladbach and the like).

The annual fees vary a bit among the libs; I for one pay 16 Euro for 12 months.

This is what you get besides the usual library stuff: every digital copy of Computer Music, Future Music, and Beat Magazine (the latter in both English and German versions, as well as their special editions).

You can't get them (and access to their goodies!) cheaper anywhere else. Plus there are literally thousands of non-music-related newspapers from all over the world included.

That is a great tip. I actually have a library subscription and kind of forgot that I have access to Computer Music and others, so thanks for the reminder. Just installed ImpOSCar 2. Highly recommend the library subscription, there is so much content for next to nothing, it's insane.
