yea, sound quality, wavetable editor, and speed to get idea out......very very good. I feel bad for other companies when Serum 2 drops lmao. Mad props to MA for Current though.....a little more love on that granular side and I think its really nasty

Thing is that it wasn’t just KVR and the other forums - twitter and instagram had loads of negativity too. There probably was originally a way of launching a subscription synth but not with Current.
It might well be that you could launch a subscription service like Splice/Loopmasters/Output and say “ah and look, what makes us different is you can manipulate our sounds with this synth”. And then push the synth to influencers and they hype it.

I'm sure this would be confidential information, but it would be interesting to learn how many netizens who bullied Minimal Audio into dropping their subscription model (and also changing the product they offered) will actually pay for perpetual licenses for the synth and its presents or soundsets.
Not counting promises that involved "fairy gold" withheld for the sake of coercion, but only counting purchases after the money has actually changed hands.

in their own personal forum people had negative feeling about subscription, if your own customers in your own forum people are unhappy, that is a red flag

Yeah, I have also been wondering if this might have gone better for them if Minimal had pitched this new product differently.Double Tap wrote: Wed Nov 01, 2023 9:21 pm Thing is that it wasn’t just KVR and the other forums - twitter and instagram had loads of negativity too. Now this is the kind of ad-hominem comment that warms my heart. And I appreciate your lack of vulgarity.martiu wrote: Wed Nov 01, 2023 9:26 pmyou cute little summer childhavran wrote: Wed Nov 01, 2023 9:00 pm The pool of potential customers might be larger than the number of people who post disparagements and ultimatums on the internet.

havran:
"It seems KVR has been overrun by the Skeksis."
1) Why did you think "Skeksis" was directed at you in particular?
2) At the bottom of page 51 (just the slightest bit earlier in the timeline) you were already on the verge of making insinuations about me, and I also see that you have edited that post -- perhaps to cover your tracks?
