Let's see: Live 10 got Wavetable, a pretty powerful WT synth, DrumBuss, which makes most transient designers redundant; much deeper Max4Live integration; Collections, Multi-Clip-Editing for MIDI; Freezing sidechained-tracks; Echo - a very good-sounding delay, chase MIDI and predefined automation curves (absolute godsend) and Capture MIDI.

Live 11 got MPE on all of Live's instruments except Operator, MPE editing capabilities, comping and take lanes, probability and randomization both for MIDI notes and velocity, Tempo Follower to have Live's tempo change according to audio input, Hybrid Reverb (mix of convolution and algorithmic reverb), Spectral Resonator, Spectral Time, PitchLoop89, Drift (new VA), improved racks (more macros, randomization), more follow actions.

And each came with a couple of huge sound packs.

If any of these features or devices make it worth upgrading for you, only you can decide. But as a die-hard Live user I can safely say that chase MIDI, Capture, predefined automation curves, velocity randomization, Max4Live integration and the improved racks makes Live 10 and 11 very well worth.

If you don't care for any of this and are running a system on Live 9 that will remain stable in terms of plugins for another couple years, then, yeah, there is nothing.

Let's see:
(large list of changes removed to make this more readable)
Well, it looks like it is really worth upgrading from the version 9. If not now, at least when the 12 comes out ;)
Thanks for the list!

MIDI capture is a godsend feature, no more "fffuu I forgot to press F9" :P
Hoping Live 12 will have this for wav input.

If you have very long MIDI notes, it used to be that you HAD to play the clip containing them from the start, in order to hear what they triggered. Chase MIDI (or MIDI chase) solves that.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

So all major DAWs recently got updates . Now it is Ableton's turn I guess with 11.5 or 12
We might see the beta before end of the year.
Wonder what direction they took and what long standing feature requests are added.
