My guess would be a delay. But with talk of a pitch shifter or vocoder, my mind started wondering, "What could be done with that inside ShaperBox?" (I enjoy experimenting with effects that go beyond normal, like glitching and stutter, and I like finding "happy accidents" with those kinds of effects.)

Post

Pitch shifter?! Finally? (Part guess part wishful thinking)

Post

yes ... delay please :)

Hmm I think I'm part of the transient shaper club

Post

yep transient shaper

I´d hope for a transient shaper. The visual feedback would make it very controllable.

OnePingOnly emulator? :hihi: :hihi: :P

J/K, a reverb would be nice, or a delay.

The latest version of VolumeShaper already does transient shaping when you set it to be triggered by audio erm, transients.
The curves make for very flexible editing, and the multiband-ness is just icing on the cake!
VolumeShaper might be the only transient shaper you'd ever need already :D

I've been using it a lot recently, for Trancegate effects. My go-to now, as I like the GUI and functionality better than on my former go-to Gatekeeper. I also love the frequency dependant application of the effect, I don't think Gatekeeper offers that.

Dear Cableguys, if is not a transient shaper i think you should implement it :D

Anyway just to be in topic, all the transient shaper i tried had an issue with the firts hit, giving an higher peak compared to the following parts.
If it's a transient shaper please load a kick in 4/4, turn the attack all the way up (exagerate just to check how it behave) then take a look at the first kick transient if is different from the following. then stop for 2 sec the loop, and do it again.

If this works without any issue i'll make you a statue, cause every MB transient shaper i tried suffer from this issue

Use volume shaper, create your transient curve, set it to one shot mode and trigger through audio input. There you go, a transient shaper.
