Hello. With the Launchpad (mini) in mixing mode (user + session) , is it possible to simply not lit the pads that are not used instead of having them kind of greyish ? It would be nicer and more relax as the focus would be on the active pads.

New here guys... I'm using Driven By Moss - MCU Control Universal drive in BitWig 5 and multi faders are moving when I move a single fader. Please help!!!

Hi Jurgen, quick question regarding Push 3 and Bitwig 5. If the track has a track remotes page, the page appears fine in Push when I enter the device page. But after I dig deeper into a device's level and the device remotes are shown, I cannot get back the track remotes page in Push. No matter I go out by "up", or I dig into the track's devices from the mixer, the tack remotes are never shown again, only one of the device remotes are shown. How can I make the track remotes visible again in Push?

The project/track parameters can be found in the USER area. They should not appear in the device mode, this is due to the currently weird implementation of the additional modes which can selected from the controller dialog but not from a script.

I bought a ModBap Trinity, a Drummachine in Eurorack format. Normally i control the Instument via CV (ES-9) through the grid. I want to save some cables and do the communication via the MIDI. So I connected the Instument via the USB-cable they sent me with the Trinity.

I installed the Generic Flexi and want to set it up now. The Trinity is not really a controller. Rather than getting signals from the Trinity I want to sent Signals (triggers, notes, envelopes, etc) out of the grid. Is the Flexi the way to go?

What would be my next step?

No. What you want is the Hardware Instrument device. Add one to an instrument track. Before that you can insert a MIDI CC device and configure the CCs from your list.

Hi, I am using DbM 21.5.0 (latest) with Bitwig 5.1 beta 4 with an Arturia Beatstep with the latest firmware (1.2.0.3).

Success has been somewhat spotty. Sometimes things work well, others not.
In particular, I am trying to use Drum mode.

• Load up Arturia midi centrer and load the DbM template
• load Bitwig
• put a drum machine on a track
• in ctrl mode on BS, I hit Shift-Pad 4 and "Drum" shows
• turn button 16 counterclockwise and choose pad 9 (kick)
• turn button 16 clockwise "sequence" pops up
• hit pad 1 to place a kick on step 1 and it is not blue, it's orange and plays the kick. Same for any note and any drum.

If this might have something to do with beta Bitwig, I will just wait for release or reinstall 5.0. NP.

I should note that I had this working last night for a brief time, but have tried many options like reboot computer, restart BS controller, restart Bitwig, remove and readd controller in BW and nothing seems to work.

Regarding Push 3, is it somehow possible to keep the session view focus always on the top level view of the clip launcher, irregardless if with mouse I am currently selecting a group or a track within a group?

Just tested and it works fine for me. Always make sure that you have a clip created and selected!
